Circle Maui County (5 Islands) (About 2 hours) In addition to all of the above, including Molokai's 2,000 foot sea cliffs, the whales of Maui, and the movie stars' homes of Hana, you will also see the World War II vintage shipwrecks and dramatic cliffs of Lanai, with its destination resorts including pristine Manele bay, Club Lanai, and Koele Lodge. You will fly past the target island of Kahoolawe which was once used by the U.S. Navy for artillery firing practice, and the crater-shaped island of Molokini, a world famous snorkel and dive destination
Molokai, Lanai, and Lahaina (About 1.5 hours round trip) In addition to the beautiful and maj estic cliffs of Molokai's North Shore described above, you will see ancient Hawaiian fish ponds, World-War II vintage shipwrecks, and the sparkling sun-drenched beaches of Maui's gold coast. In the winter whales abound and you will be amazed by their graceful fluidity and frisky energy as they swim, frolic, and breach in the tranquil Pacific waters off Lahaina.
Maui Island 1.5 to 2 Hours
With your FAA Certified Flight Instructor next to you, we will curicumnavigate the East portion of Maui around Haleakala and see the breath taking scenery of Hana Coast and it's many water falls. As you continue to navigate around Maui we will fly past South Maui's beautiful white sand beaches, Continuing West you will fly by Lahaina Maui, Kaanapali, Kapalua before returning backus into kahului
Volcanos National Park 3.5 to 4.5 Hours For this amazing lesson we will have you fly us on an amazing route along the North Shore of Maui seeing crazy beautiful waterfalls and jungle, overflying the town of Hana. We will head off towards Hilo which is located on the very eastern edge of the Island of Hawaii. At Hilo we head towards the south to get a chance to use dead recokoning skills and pilotage to help us locate the volcano as a VFR checkpoint. Once we have overflown the Volcano we will navigate back to our home airport Kahului
